Margaret Brown’s The Great Invisible won the Grand Jury Prize for documentary at SxSW 2014, was acquired by Radius/TWC for theatrical release, and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking. She received the Truer Than Fiction Award at the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards for her second documentary feature, The Order of Myths, which was also nominated for Best Documentary. Brown’s first feature was the acclaimed documentary Be Here To Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received worldwide theatrical distribution in 2005.
