Esther Robinson is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and producer, who has also managed to do stints as: a funder (Creative Capital Foundation), a tv producer (Alive From Off Center), a digital distributor (The Last Broadcast/Wavelength Releasing), an awards show Chair/host (Cinema Eye Honors) and a non-profit founder ( ArtHome: a non-profit whose mission to help artists build assets and equity through financial literacy, homeownership, self-sufficiency and the responsible use of credit). She's also super psyched that her directorial debut A Walk into The Sea: Danny Williams and the Warhol Factory (which took top festival prizes at the Berlin, Tribeca and Chicago film festivals) is now slated for re-release in 2017 and that her most recent Executive Produced Film Memories of a Penitent Heart (dir: Cecilia Aldarondo) is slated for 2017 broadcast on POV ... She's also a proud board member of Women Make Movies.
