This session will provide a roundtable where people can share what they are doing in their communities in the north to advance food sovereignty. For folks living in the north, opportunities are rare to network, share and learn from others working in the north. We will kick off the sharing with a few short presentations from the Kluane First Nation, the Arctic Institute of Community Based Research and the Nunavik Food Security Working Group. We will then invite northerners to share their own work, in hopes that this leads into a rich conversation. Our guiding question for the session will be: How does your work advance food sovereignty?
