Food Sovereignty has become a popular concept for thinking about food system transformation, but whose sovereignty are we talking about? Indigenous food sovereignty is intimately tied to place, and broader issues of Indigenous self-governance on the land. In this discussion based plenary, four Indigenous thinkers and food activists will open the door on these fundamental food system issues from perspectives that connect with health, nationhood, the land and colonialism.
