My name is Yingjie Hu. My major research area is GIScience and more specifically geospatial semantics. I study the space, time, and semantics of geographic information, as well as the interactions among the three. My research often brings a semantic perspective that helps explain the spatiotemporal patterns of geographic phenomena. The projects I have worked on involve spatial data mining, information value measurement, and spatial data infrastructures.
