David graduated from SAIT in 2005 with a diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology and was introduced to reality capture shortly after while working as a Survey Crew Chief at Stewart Weir & Co in Alberta. He has been passionate about reality capture since.

He has spent the last 16 years working with the latest geomatics related software and hardware in sales, support, and consultant roles including the last 4 years at Leica Geosystems as Reality Capture Sales Manager - Western Canada.

He is now working with a premier Leica Reality Capture value reseller, R-E-A-L.iT, as a Solutions Consultant. R-E-A-L.iT is North Americas first fully equipped reality capture dealer, carrying all lines of reality capture instruments from Leica Geosystems including the latest mobile mapping systems.
