Brian received his commercial pilots license in 2003 from Mount Royal University and flew multiple aircraft types, including the Canadian designed and produced DeHavilland Twin Otter throughout North America and the Caribbean.  After touring the skies, he decided to pursue a Geomatics Engineering Degree from the University of Calgary, graduating in 2009.

Brian’s role since joining OGL Engineering in 2019 includes managing multiple aircraft, pilots, sensor operators and maintenance personnel on multiple aerial data acquisition projects across Canada. As a former commercial pilot and geomatics engineer, Brian holds a unique skill set and perspective when it comes to aerial data acquisition logistics and their challenges.
