We are hosting a special gallery of maps and posters for this year’s expo.

The Canada Maps & Poster Gallery will run from October 29th to the 30th in Calgary and is an excellent opportunity to showcase your teams work and impact for the public good. 

This initiative is in partnership with the Canadian Cartographic Association (CCA) and the International Map Industry Association (IMIA). 

Submissions:

We are accepting posters and/or maps. These can be any color maps or posters. The theme for submissions is very broad, with no restrictions other than ensuring the work is of good quality. The submissions do not need to be brand new; we welcome work from the past couple of years, as this is the first time we are running this program. Next year, we plan to only accept new submissions.

Important Details:

• No Competition: This is not a competition. The goal is to raise awareness, promote the sector, and highlight the work of your team.
• Display: Your submissions will be displayed in the Canada Maps Gallery for all attendees to see. Submit as many posters or maps as you wish.
• Size restrictions: There are none. The bigger the better!
• No Cost & format: There is no cost to participate. You just need to send us your printed maps and posters.  We will send mailing instructions for participants.
• Deadline: October 11th, 2024, 5pm EST 
• Universities & Colleges: We have invited Canadian Geo programs from coast to coast to participate for their own program.
