BeSpatial / urisa Ontario, is a not for profit representing the Geospatial and Information Community in Ontario. Our BeEmployed session, is designed to help you step out of the comfort zone of applying to jobs posted online. This presentation will teach you about:

  • effective networking
  • the information interview
  • using social media as part of your job search
  • recommended professional organizations to join
  • suggested conferences to attend
  • and how to create your own job
We will also review resume and cover letter writing. The materials presented in this seminar will be made available to participants. Participants will also be given the opportunity to join our organization, BeSpatial / urisa ontario, and take advantage of other seminars and webinars. Once you become a student member, you can also be assigned a mentor, in our new Mentorship Program.
