Corinna Schmitt received the Diplom-Informatikerin (Bioinformatikin) from the Eberhard-Karls University of Tübingen (Germany) and the Dr. rer. nat. (Ph.D.) degree from the Technical University of Munich (Germany). From 2013 to May 2018 she joint the University of Zurich (Switzerland) as „Head of Mobile and Trusted Communications“ in the Communication Systems Group. Currently she is a researcher and lab supervisor at the Research Institute CODE, University of Federal Armed Forces Munich (Germany) with focus on IoT, (Cyber)security and privacy issues related to smart environments, critical infrastructures, and military communication. Her work is documented in >30 publications and two standards She is active in ACM and IEEE as TCP member, as well as reviewer for several journals and funding schemes, and organizer of conferences. She contibutes/ed to several national and EU-funded projects such as smartenIT, symbIoTe, AutHoNe, CONCORDIA, and BERKoS.
