Sławomir Nowak works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Theoretical and the Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IITIS PAN), in the team of Modeling and Evaluation of Computer Systems. Sławomir has a PhD in the Computer Systems domain. He is an expert in the field of event-driven simulation. He is a contractor in the SerIoT project (Secure and Safe Internet of Things) that aims to optimize the information security in IoT platforms and networks in a holistic, cross-layered manner in order to offer a secure SerIoT platform that can be used to implement secure IoT platforms and networks anywhere and everywhere. He also works as an expert for Polish government institutions and as a contractor in commercial projects related to the design of information systems and system engineering.
