Managing Director Henrik Seiding, Department of Technical and Environmental Services, City of Aarhus

Henrik Seiding heads the Department of Technical and Environmental Services, which is responsible for municipal and spatial planning, the city’s public transport system, climate change and climate mitigation, district heating, waste management and the construction and operation of roads and infrastructure in Denmark’s second-largest municipality. The work of the Department is based on five political guiding principles that set its course towards 2021. These principles span a wide range of issues, including how the municipality’s citizens and companies are best served, accessibility, the green transition and thriving local communities. Henrik Seiding has previously held senior positions in the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Ramboll Group. 

Henrik Seiding holds a MSc degree in Political Science from Aarhus University.
