Mr Stefanos Stavrotheodoros received his diploma from the Department of Applied Informatics in 2005 and his master's degree in Business Informatics in 2007 at the University of Macedonia, Greece. He is working as a research assistant in the Information Technologies Institute (I.T.I) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (C.E.R.T.H). His research interests concern software engineering and semantic models in the e-Health and Internet of Things fields. He has been one of the core developers of the IN LIFE project for the implementation of a platform that incorporates ICT services in order to support older adults with dementia. Currently, he is working in the ACTIVAGE project, a study on IoT for Active and Healthy Ageing with emphasis on interoperability of technology, services, use cases, and business models, which is one of the largest IoT running projects from EU H2020 program.
