Dr. Darko Anicic is a research scientist at Siemens AG, Corporate Technology. He conducts research in the areas of Internet of Things, Semantic Technologies, and Stream Processing in domains of Industrial- and Building Automation.

He has been active in standardization activities of iot.schema.org, World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), OPC Foundation, and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
