Pavel Smirnov is a senior research engineer involved in EU Research Projects activities at AGT International (Darmstadt, Germany). He received his Master and PhD degrees at ITMO University (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), holds several journal publications and conference in the domain of distributed workflow executions and knowledge-based applications design. Pavel also has an experience in data streaming engines and cloud-based infrastructures. Within the HOBBIT project he developed docker- and cloud-related extensions enabling scalable cloud-based benchmarks using the HOBBIT platform.
