Ma Yan, graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (formerly Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications) in 1982, part-time professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer Science and Technology of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. As a member of the expert group, he participated in the construction of many national projects such as the China ATM Scientific Experiment Network Project,  China High Speed Interconnection Research Experiment Network NSFCnet and so on. He engaged in the research of TCP/IP network-based network management technology, network security technology, mobile IP technology, IPv6 technology and its applications. Yan Ma is a pioneer in the development of IPv6 in China and a member of the expert committee of CERNET (China Education Research Network), which created China's first IPv6 test bed.
