Received his B.S. degree in Computer Science at West Central State University, Brazil, in 2013, after which he worked for two years developing connectivity solutions at LG Electronics. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP), and was a visiting research scholar at the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. He co-created CodeIoT, a MOOC that helped more than 150,000 people worldwide to learn IoT skills. Currently he works as an embedded software engineer and researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center on Interactive Technologies at USP, and his main research interests are Swarm Computing, IoT Security, and Decentralized Identity.
