Dr. Konstantinos V. Katsaros (male), is a Project Manager and Senior Researcher active in the areas of distributed AI/ML, federated learning, multi-access edge computing for 5G networks and beyond. He also holds extensive experience in the areas of information-centric networking, IoT interoperability, smart grids, inter-domain carrier services and multicast/broadcast service provision over cellular networks. Dr. Katsaros has worked as a Senior Research Engineer for Intracom S.A. Telecom Solutions (Greece), and a Research Associate at University College London (UK) and Telecom ParisTech (France). He holds a BSc (2003) in Informatics, a MSc (2005) in Computer Science and a PhD (2010) in Computer Science, from AUEB (Greece). Dr. Katsaros has published and presented his work in numerous academic conferences, workshops and peer reviewed journals, and has served as a reviewer for scientific journals and conferences. He has received scholarships and awards from Greek institutions and international companies.

Dr. Katsaros currently acts as the leader of the Evaluation activities in 5G-PPP 5G-MOBIX project and he has a leading technical role in the 5G-PPP 5G-IANA project, with a focus on the management and orchestration of AI/ML workloads in B5G networks.
