Since 2014, SAT Alliance is being launched to create a community around the SAT concept, to boost the implementation throughout several initiatives. Initially designed to be a set of standards to support the capture, transformation, and transmission of sensitive data by an IoT device, the SAT concept proved to be a cyber security framework for IoT. The first implementation related to control the issuance of invoices for Brazilian retailers reached impressive numbers of 1 million devices and 15 million transactions per day. Later, the concept evolved to manage the capture, transformation, and transmission of fuel sales directly from fuel pumps, health records related to Covid-19, and other sensitive data related to private and public institutions. SAT concept was born to be open and independent of Hardware, Operating System, Application, or centralized implementation.
