Franck Le Gall , is a PhD Eng. in Physics and Telecommunications. After 5 years in
technical development (he authored several patents and scientific publications) in the
field of optoelectronic components , he spent a further eight years in the set-up and
management of large international and multi-cultural industrial R&D projects. He
directed more than 10 large scale projects and studies related to the evaluation and
monitoring of innovation and technical programs, most of them focused on the
adoption of standardisation good practices (collaborations with ETSI and W3C) as well
as research exploitation through standardisation. In October 2013, in joined
the company Easy Global Marketas COO.
Beside office development, his activities focus on increasing value of research
projects outcomes through the implementation of standards conformance
and interoperability validation schemes. He is now participating in several EU funded
projects including technical management in PROTEUS (advanced sensors for water
monitoring), FIESTA (IoT semantic interoperability), FESTIVAL (EU-JP
cooperation on IoT), U-Test (including uncertainties in cyber physical system
testing), PHANTOM (model based testing of heterogeneous distributed systems). He was also SME coach within the FIWARE program.
He recently co-found the Industry Specification Group on Context Information
Management (ISG-CIM) at ETSI.
