Paradisi, Alberto,He graduated in Electronic Engineering from University of Genoa, Italy (1990), received his PhD in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico of Turin, Italy (1993) and MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil (2004). He spent his professional career at CPqD, where he is currently acting as Director of Strategy. He has experience in research and development, coordination and management in the area of Electronic Engineering and innovation management with emphasis in telecommunication systems and Internet-of-things. He mainly worked in the following technological areas: simulation and modeling of optical devices and sub-systems, communication networks and traffic engineering, WDM optical transmission systems, optical amplification, optical switching, protection and restoration, performance monitoring in WDM optical networks, WDM, OTN an dEthernet networks with ASON/GMPLS control plane, digital signal processing in optical systems, optical access networks.
