Prof. Yassin Rekik is a Computer Sciences Professor at University of Applied Sciences - Western Switzerland (HES-SO) at Haute Ecole du Payasage, d’Ingénierie et d’Architecture (hepia), in Geneva. He received a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Ecole Nationale des Sciences Informatiques, Tunisia (1996) and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (2001). He is responsible of several courses at undergraduate level (OO Programming, Software Engineering, 3D HCI) and graduate level (Games Technologies, Advanced Software Architecture and Design). He is conducting applied research in the field of innovative interactions and interfaces. He has participated and/or coordinated many projects in the fields of mobile games, serious games, highly interactive systems, and immersive environments
