César Viho is Professor in the Computer Sciences departement (ISTIC) of the University de Rennes I in France, since 1992. Within the Dionysos team of the joint INRIA/IRISA research laboratory, he is responsible of the sub-group dedicated to “Conformance and Interoperability testing”, with a specific focus on distributed and formal approach for interoperability testing mainly applied IPv6 and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. He is the European representative in the technical committee of the IPv6 ready Logo Program. The second main field studied in his team is about QoE (Quality of Experience)-based resource management in heterogeneous mobile networks and multimedia streaming over new generation Internet. He has been involved in several European and International projects. In the context of the ongoing F-Interop European research project, he is co-leading the work-package WP2 dedicated to the development of remote online conformance and interoperability testing tools for emerging standards related to the IoT, such as 6LoWPAN, CoAP, and WoT (Web of Things). He has published several papers in main conferences and journals dealing with multimedia networking in wireless networks and interoperability testing.
