Gonzalo Murillo
Gonzalo Murillo received his Electronic Engineering
Degree (Bsc and MSc) from the Universidad de Granada (Spain) in 2007. He
obtained his MSc in Micro and Nanoelectronics and his Ph.D. from the
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He was
a researcher at the Nanotech-DTU (Denmark), MINATEC (CEA-Leti, France),
International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL, Portugal) and Georgia
Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA, USA). Now, he is research fellow and
project manager at the Microelectronics Institute of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC).
In 2017, he founded Energiot Devices SL (www.energiot.com), a start-up company focused on
energy harvesting devices for the Internet of Things (IoT). His current research
field is related to energy harvesting and nanodevices for self-powered IoT and
wearable devices and biological applications.
