Dr. Yuming GE is currently a senior engineer at China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Beijing, China. He is the Chairman of External Cooperation and Exchange Working Group of AII, the Leader C-V2X Working Group of IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Science (ICT/CAS) and his B.S. degree in Communication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). During Oct. 2009 and Oct. 2010, he visited Fraunhofer-Institut für Offene Kommunikationssysteme (FOKUS) as a visiting scholar, Berlin, Deutschland. During Dec. 2016 and Mar. 2017, he visited University of Michigan as a visiting scholar, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. Now, he focuses on standardization, innovation research and international cooperation in the area of Connected and Automated Vehicles, especially V2X communications, cybersecurity and data analysis.
