Corne Rentrop
Project Leader
Hybrid Printed Electronics Group at the Holst Center, TNO
Corne Rentrop studied chemistry in Eindhoven
University of Technology from which he graduated in 1996. He is now a project
leader in the hybrid printed electronics group at the Holst Center, TNO. He has
been working on materials science and
printed electronics for 12 years. His
work is mainly focused on printing Flexible Electronics circuit boards. Thereto
(plastic) flexible and/or stretchable foils are printed with conductive ink to
create an electric circuit. Assembly of electronic components like chips, LEDs
and SMT, creates a highly scalable and at low cost circuit board. Corne is also
WP4 leader of the EnSO project, which focuses on pilot line production of the
electric flexboard for the AMES (energy system for IoT solutions).
