Freek Boesten, MSc. is Program Manager Wearable Healthcare at
Maastricht Instruments. The company develops medical wearables with a focus on
physical activity monitoring and vital signs measurement. With a broad
experience in engineering and industrial design he worked on many eHealth and
wearables projects. Currently he is leading an R&D program together with
experts from the Maastricht University Medical Centre+ for the creation of a
medical wearables platform with different medical sensors and patches, data
management and patient monitoring features.
