Dr Thierry Demol is the R&D Manager of CITC-EuraRFID, a French IoT cluster. His research interests include the development of specialized antennas, radio links, security, networks, propagation modelling and exposure assessment.

CITC-EuraRFID is a non-profit organization located in Lille (Northern France). It was created in January 2009 and is supported by the Hauts-de-France Regional Council, the French Government, the Metropole Européenne de Lille (MEL), and the European Union. Backed by 250 members and partners, this centre for resources, experimentations and technical expertise in terms of identification, traceability, mobility and geolocation, aims to develop an ecosystem dedicated to the Internet of Things. Since March 2015, CITC is involved in the Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI). Dr Thierry Demol is the regional referent of the IoT & Manufacturing French Tech thematic network.
