Fabio Di Franco has a PhD in Telecommunication engineering from Universita’ di Palermo and he has over 10 years of experience in R&D in the IT industry. He joined ENISA (EU cyber-security agency) in 2017 and currently his role focuses on advising the European Union and the member states on research needs in cybersecurity with a view of enabling effective responses to the current and emerging threats.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
