Claus Mullie is a Researcher, Consultant and Project Manager working on the future of digital public infrastructure. His work
focuses on transnational & open collaboration, procurement strategies,
interoperability & standardization, and geopolitics.
Claus currently manages the SCORE project, bringing together 9 cities and 4 universities to collaboratively develop open source software for cities. He also contributes to projects related to blockchain for logistics, CO2-sensitive contracting, and is an advisor to the Foundation For Public Code.
Previously, Claus worked with the European Commission’s Smart City unit as well as Citymart - pioneer in challenge-based innovative procurement. To date, Claus has worked with 25+ cities, from Amsterdam and New York to Da Nang in Vietnam.
He holds an MSc in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics and a BSocSci in Politics and International Relations from the University of Manchester.
