Benno Seiler graduated from ETH Zurich. From 1996 to 2007 he worked with econcept, a consultancy firm in Zurich, where he held the position of a Partner and Member of the Management. Since 2007 he serves as Head of Economic Development and since 2013 also as Deputy Director of Urban Development of the City of Zurich. He is Member of the Board of different institutions which aim to foster entrepreneurship in Zurich. Furthermore, he is Member of the Board of Zurich Tourism, the local tourism marketing organisation. Currently he also oversees the development of a Smart City Strategy for the City of Zurich.
