Bipin Pradeep Kumar is the CoFounder and Director at Gaia, a startup in the IoT space focussed on data driven insights. Recently Gaia was recognised for its ML on the Edge work where it created an extremely low footprint service with Microsoft Research and ST Microelectronics. Gaia is the Technology consultant for 3 of India's Smart Cities, has its IoT products in over 105 cities, 32 airports, 200 trains and has won several accolades including recognition as one of India's Emerging 20 companies by the Mayor of London. Earlier, Bipin has been part of large as well as startup up Mobile and Telecom related companies where he has created new products and rolled out services at scale

Bipin also serves as an Expert with United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business. He is the current Chairman of the Smart City Group for TEC, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communication and IT, Government of India. Academically, Bipin has a dual MBA from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service & School of Business and ESADE Business School and an MSc from the University of Wales.
