Dr Felix Larrinaga is currently a Lecturer and a Researcher at Mondragon University (Basque Country, Spain). Since 2000, he combines lecturing and research at Mondragon University with an extensive experience in industrial work as a project leader. He has actively participated in the creation of the new research team on Web Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering. The research activities of the group are in the areas of interoperability, social web technologies, and semantic web technologies. The team works on multidisciplinary projects with other universities, technological centers and enterprises in areas such innovation management, health or tourism. At the moment Dr Larrinaga is working on several projects related to manufacturing, smart cities and energy (Productive 4.0, MANTIS, ARROWHEAD, CITYFIED, RENNOVATES and SMARTENCITY). Dr Larrinaga obtained his PhD in Mobile Communications at Staffordshire University (UK) in 1999. Previously, he finished the BSc (Hons) in Industrial Electronics at Mondragon University in 1995. He finished the MSc in Computing Engineering in 2010. Expertise: Web engineering, interoperability, social web technologies, semantic web.
