How:

Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing paradigm bringing forward new technical, social, legal and economic aspects having significant impact in the daily life of citizens and a relevant role in the digitization of the European Industry. In this context, new security challenges will emerge to ensure the creation of a safe ecosystem and guarantee the growth of the European economy.

This mini workshop will cover all these aspects and provide substantial inputs to shed lights on IoT technology from different perspectives. The speakers will present the elements important to provide a common background to practitioners in the area of IoT technology. Many important issues will be addressed ranging from the legal implications, scientific research in the area and the impact of IoT in industrial sectors.

Sufficient time for discussions including Q/A from the audience will allow us to discuss these views and eventually add others.
