This session will present recent developments in the area of cross-domain interoperability. The ongoing Projects on the Internet of Things are contributing to test and validate theoretical interoperability models through real large scale deployments and effective applications. The session will present and discuss distinct approaches to overcome the remaining fragmentation across standards, technologies and application domains. Coming from distinct layers and technological approach, the session will explore future venues to enable a globally interoperable Internet of Things.
