This plenary aims to identify the challenges to overcome in order to enable open services markets. In this regard, it will be discussed how the descriptions of the devices and the context in which they operate allow value-added services.

Some of the topics to be discussed will be:

                    the discovery

                    adaptation to variations between devices

                    the composition of the services

                    the terms and conditions

                    the payments

                    the role of semantic models

Use cases and simple solutions. Use of libraries to access triple collections for a distributed network of machine-readable information.
