The first part of the session will host presentations delivering 3 key messages each (7-8 minutes) around the following key questions:

  1. Why is it important to build trust in IoT ecosystems? (Kees van der Klauw, Chair AIOTI)
  2. How do we define trust from the ecosystem perspective? What do we know about the nuances of trust? (Alena Siarheyeva, Yncréa & AIOTI WG2 IoT Innovation Ecosystems Chair)
  3. Is there a gap between customer’s expectations and business offer? (Tanya Suarez, Bluespecs & AIOTI Communication manager)
  4. Why and how companies should move from trustworthiness to trust? (Michele Nati, Digital Catapult, tbc)
  5. Can Governance Instruments bridge the gap between business offer and customers’ expectations in the matter of trust?  (Georgios Karagiannis, Huawei and AIOTI WG3 IoT Standards Co-chair)
  6. What can accountability bring to trust ? (Arthur van der Wees, Arthur’s legal & AIOTI Co-Founder, WG3 Privacy & Security Taskforces leader, and WG4 PolicyCo-chair)

In the second part of the session the persons mentioned above will engage in discussions with the audience related to the question “How do we engage with our customers and other stakeholders in IoT value chains, so we can trust each other, whether machine, human or hybrid?”
