The session will address how the IoT sector could play a vital role in enabling local governments to harvest self-organized citizens contributions and extend lessons learnt towards further citizens’ engagement.  Could smart citizens be an inspiring source and provide solutions to build resilient solutions and public responses to adverse climate events? Presentations will be followed by an inspiring discussion on IoT enabled future.

The discussion will be focused on the evolving role of citizens through digital lenses and the related future scenarios.
