This workshop will showcase our learnings from OrganiCity, introduce you to Experimentation as a Service, and provide some fun exercises from the OrganiCity Playbook to help you launch this service in your own city.

OrganiCity is a service for experimentation that explores how citizens, businesses and city authorities can work together to create digital solutions to urban challenges. OrganiCity is testing a public service that enables anyone in a city to experiment with urban data. This is a model called Experimentation as a Service (EaaS), which allows citizens, small businesses, corporations and city authorities to test new ideas at a small scale.

If you are interested in experimentation and solving city challenges, join us for one of our two workshops, which we’ll be running in Bilbao for IoT week on 6 June and in Santander on 8 June 2018.

You’ll also have a chance to meet four of the teams who experimented with OrganiCity:

u-Hopper (Aarhus, Denmark)

CAMoN (Cali, Colombia & Cartagena, Spain)

Tranquil City (London, UK)

- Greenroof Monitoring (Oslo, Sweden)

OrganiCity is a European Commission funded project that has been running for 3½ years involving 15 partners across Europe and 43 experimenter teams across 14 cities.

You will have more opportunities to engage in further conversation with the experimenters and the OrganiCity team at our booth at the IoT Week Bilbao 2018.
