Josip Josifovski is a research assistant at the Chair for Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time systems at the Technical University of Munich. He received his master’s degree in Intelligent Adaptive Systems from the University of Hamburg in 2018 and his bachelor’s degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2012. At his current position, he is working within the Artificial Intelligence for Digitizing Industry (AI4DI) research project, where he develops simulations and artificial intelligence algorithms for industrial robots. His research focus is on continual reinforcement learning, simulations and sim2real transfer in robotics. His previous experience includes research work on cross-modal learning in robotics with the Knowledge Technology group at the University of Hamburg and several years of industry experience in startup and mid-size companies focusing on software development, computer vision and augmented reality.
