I am Bossa Ivan, 30years, a Ugandan by nationality. I have over 5 years of experience working with organizations and communities in the business and nonprofit sector. I have a background in Computer Science Technology, we have developed tech solutions for different organizations. I am the Founder and Team lead at Muwanga IT Consultants an urban technology company involved in IoT, technical installations of modern and urban sensors and gadgets. We implement smart cities and smart home/buildings by improving their security, living conditions, comfort and convenience using next-generation tools, gadgets and software.
I am a member of the Internet Society since 2016 and currently serve on the board of Projects Committee of ISOC Uganda chapter. I have done several courses of ISOC such as Shaping the internet, History & Futures, Introduction to Network Operations(Netops) among others.  As ISOC Uganda chapter, we have implemented a number of projects including child online protection, the Wikipedia Luganda project where we translated Wikipedia articles into Luganda for school learning purposes. I represented Isoc Uganda chapter in Addis Ababa last year for Advocacy Meeting. With the experience I have achieved working with Isoc Uganda Chapter I am in better position to carry out my duties as the treasurer of Isoc Uganda Chapter.
