The COVID19 crisis has significantly pushed for the digital transformation of our society and economy. Beyond the visible face of digital transformation, deep technological revolutions are happening. Network virtualization, digital twins, far edge computing, artificial intelligence, and distributed ledger technologies are just a few examples. This session brings together representatives of several organizations and fora active in the ICT research domain to share their views on the most important technological shifts identified in their respective domains and the upcoming research challenges.
