Liam has been working in compliance, information governance, records management, information security and data protection for the last 20 years. He commenced his interest in the field while working in information security and subsequently systems governance . He has continued to focus on the area during his 15 years working in professional service. He is the partner with responsibility for GDPR and Privacy in Mazars Irish practice and leads the Mazars Global Privacy Team. This includes preparing the Mazars to deliver GDPR certification services.

Over the last four years Liam has led a team that has worked with more than 100 organisations to become GDPR compliant. As the most senior member of the privacy team in Ireland, Liam is the named DPO for more the 30 organisations that currently engage Mazars to provide outsourced DPO services.
