Dr. Cyril Cecchinel is a software engineer and project manager specialized in Industry 4.0 at DataThings. He made his Ph.D. thesis at the University of Côte d'Azur (France) on techniques to optimize data collection strategies on the sensitive Internet of Things networks such as battery-powered environmental monitoring networks. Since he has been involved in the H2020 project InterQ to design data-driven solutions to improve machining and product quality and he is also involved in projects including production machine monitoring in Luxembourg. He is an expert in ICT solutions to collect and process low-level data from a programmable logic controller or environmental sensors.
