Dr. George Bravos (male) is the co-founder of ITML and the Director of Research and Development. He received his Electrical Engineering and Computer Science diploma from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2002 and his PhD from the University of Piraeus at 2008. He has a solid background as a research scientist and an innovator. From 2002 to 2008 he worked as a research engineer at the University of Piraeus in several international research projects. From 2009 to 2014 he worked as a scientific assistant – professor at the Technical Educational Institution of Chalkida, Greece. Since 2016 he has successfully managed more than ten (10) National and EU funded research and innovation projects. His research interests mainly focus on physical layer techniques and MAC protocols for energy efficient wireless sensor networks. He is a member of IEEE and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
