Herbert Mittermayr – Dr. Mittermayr is Partner within Bell Laboratories, the research lab of Nokia. Bell Labs is focusing on techno-economic strategies especially on the intersection between emerging technologies, new business models and society impacts. Herbert is advising telecom services providers and enterprises by modelling and simulating new value creation strategies including the role of webscalers and public cloud providers.

He works in the telecom market for more then 25 years and held several senior roles in Mobile networks and Applications Divisions, including heading the value creation unit for Convergent Applications. 

Prior to Alcatel, Mr.Mittermayr was CEO of a start-up software company, where he gained valuable experience in innovative business models and venture capital financing.

Besides, Herbert is also lecturer on the University of Applied Sciences Vienna.
