Vasiliki is a Doctor of Law, and she is currently a Senior Researcher at ELTRUN Research Lab of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Her research field is Law and Technology, majoring in Internet Governance. She is particularly interested in the translation of legal principles into design requirements and technical standards, human rights application in digital contexts, and the broader interaction between law and new technologies. She currently studies issues related to the governance of Artificial Intelligence and legally interesting aspects of blockchain. 

In i3-Market she offers input regarding the legal aspects of smart contracts, assisting in the embodiment of contractual law principles into smart contracts applications. She also monitors and offers guidance regarding issues related to compliance with the legal requirements relevant to the sharing and trading of data, including but not limited to the General Data Regulation and legislation related to tokens.
