Dr. Theodore Zahariadis is the Chief Technical Officer of Synelixis S.A. and Full Professor at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has granted a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Computer Engineering & Informatics from University of Patras and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. For more than 20 years, Dr. Zahariadis has been the Project Coordinator, the Technical Coordinator or a Senior researcher in a number of EC projects in the areas of Networked Media, Internet of Things, Energy Efficiency, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. 

His research interests are in the fields of Internet of Things, wireless sensor/5G/6G networks, Cloud/Edge Computing, Big Data/Data Spaces, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Smart Cities and Precision Agriculture. Dr. Zahariadis has published more than 150 papers in magazines, journals and conferences, with more than 3200 citations (h-index: 30). Since 2001, he is assigned as an EC evaluator of IST/ICT proposals and reviewer/rapporteur in many EC projects.
