Mr Thomas Waldmann
Thomas has been Start-Up & Venture Manager at the Würth Elektronik Group since October 2017. In this role, he is responsible for cooperations, hardware support and networking with internal product and business developers. His goal is to help founders and developers bring their products and ideas to market as quickly as possible. He is also the contact person for the integration of innovative and creative young companies into the Würth Group. In addition, he keeps an eye on all topics that give the Würth Group an innovative edge.
During his 20 years or so with OSRAM GmbH, as Head of SP Services, he already drove the topic of "Open Innovation" and industrialization of new developments through cooperation with start-ups. Thomas Waldmann graduated in communications engineering from the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
He also shares his knowledge as a guest lecturer at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences, the TU Berlin and other German universities.
He is a born Berliner!
