Our daily life has become more and more digital, from the way we commute to work to how we watch a movie in the evening: a “digital society” that uses a wide range of Next Generation Internet applications. Ensuring safe and trustworthy technologies is a real challenge for research, which must deal with rapidly evolving requirements and heterogeneous features in a highly competitive environment.

To tackle this challenge, testbeds’ federations play a crucial role in supporting experimenters and researchers, granting interoperable top-quality testing facilities to validate innovative solutions in a real-world environment.

This workshop brings together experts from the research community and testbeds’ owners to share their success stories and discuss the challenges of supporting experimentation in federated research infrastructure in Europe and beyond.
